The trio are joined by fans and even more home heroes in a parade across Phillip Island
The Qatar Airways Australian Motorcycle Grand Prix got underway in style as a parade from San Remo across the island welcomed MotoGP™ back Down Under. Home hero Jack Miller (Red Bull KTM Factory Racing) was joined by Joan Mir (Repsol Honda Team) as well as Australians Senna Agius (Liqui Moly Husqvarna Intact GP), Joel Kelso (BOE Motorsport) and Jacob Roulstone (Red Bull GASGAS Tech3) for the event, and with a very special guest of honour: MotoGP™ Legend Mick Doohan. This is the 30th anniversary of his first title and the Australian will also do a Lap of Honour on Sunday before the GP race.
The event started with interviews on the stage in San Remo before heading off across the Island, and when they arrived at the track, the group did a lap of the legendary venue before the final photo op. Enjoy some postcards from the parade and make sure to watch the live video too!
