Saudi rally champion Ibrahim Al-Muhanna concluded his sixth consecutive participation in the legendary Dakar Rally, and succeeded in reaching finish line on his debut Side-by-Side (SSV) category, or as it was known as (T4), a new achievement by being only racing driver from Saudi Arabia to succeed in four different categories, trucks, then (T1) for cars, Stock (T2), and finally Side-by-Side (SSV/T4).

2025 Dakar Rally started on January 3 from Bisha, and ended on Friday, January 17 in Shubaytah in Empty Quarter, covering a distance of nearly nine thousand kilometers, during which it passed through Al-Hanakiyah, Al-Ula, Hail, Al-Duwadimi, Riyadh, and Haradh.

Ibrahim Al-Muhanna and his assistant Faisal Al-Suwaih had prepared for 2025 Dakar Rally , by taking runner-up on SSV in Jeddah Rally, final round of the Saudi Toyota Desert Rally Championship.

Ibrahim Al-Muhanna had also previously got fourth place in 2024 FIA Baja World Cup, after completing in six rounds out of eight that, on his debut on SSV (T4), with Can-Am Maverick XRS Turbo R equipped by BBR and modified by Al-Muhanna’s garage and Ahmed Al-Shaqawi’s garage.

Al-Muhanna enters 2025 with a major international events, as he will compete in the Oman International Rally, opening round of the Middle East Rally Championship (MERC), and immediately after that he is expected to head to Saudi Baja (Hail International Rally), opening round of the 2025 FIA Baja World Cup, opening round of FIA Middle East Baja Cup, and opening round of SAMF Saudi Toyota Desert Rally Championship, and immediately will go to Qatar International Rally, second round of the Middle East Rally Championship (MERC), scheduled from February 6th to 8th.
