The fourth edition introduces the latest electric models, local manufacturing, and workforce training as the Kingdom accelerates toward its Vision 2030 electrification targets
The fourth edition of EV Auto Show Riyadh takes place October 27-29, 2025, at the Riyadh International Convention & Exhibition Center, as Saudi Arabia’s electric vehicle sector reaches a turning point. New market research shows that 40% of Saudi consumers are now considering electric vehicle purchases within the next 12 months—up from less than 1% just two years ago.
This shift positions 2025 as a critical year for the Kingdom’s electric mobility transition, supporting Saudi Vision 2030’s target of 30% vehicle electrification in Riyadh by 2030.
The show brings together over 120 exhibitors from 35 countries, showcasing the latest electric and plug-in hybrid technologies. The ROX ADAMAS luxury all-terrain SUV will make its Saudi Arabia debut following its global premiere in Abu Dhabi this month, while Lucid Motors presents the Gravity SUV, showing the growing range of premium electric options available to Saudi consumers.
Building a Complete EV Ecosystem
The 2025 edition goes beyond vehicle sales to include local manufacturing, charging infrastructure, and workforce training.
Lucid Motors, which runs Saudi Arabia’s first automotive assembly facility in King Abdullah Economic City, will showcase its latest models. The facility currently assembles 5,000 vehicles annually, with plans to expand to full manufacturing capacity of 155,000 units under Vision 2030.
The National Automotive and Vehicles Academy (NAVA), a Public Investment Fund initiative launched in 2024, will present its technical education programs. Through partnerships with Ceer, Lucid Motors, and other industry leaders, NAVA trains Saudi youth in EV technology and automotive services, building the skilled workforce needed to support the growing sector.
Global Brands Meet Local Ambition
The exhibition floor features electric and plug-in hybrid vehicles from established manufacturers and new market entrants. Exhibitors include BYD, the world’s largest EV manufacturer, alongside Tesla, Sixt, and Chinese automotive brands including Chery, JAECOO, and iCAUR.
Charging infrastructure providers, such as Alpitronic, will showcase next-generation, fast-changing technologies. Saudi Arabia has expanded its public charging network to over 200 locations, with plans to deploy more than 1,000 stations by 2030.
Conference Program: From Strategy to Implementation
Beyond the exhibition floor, the conference program features more than 60 expert speakers addressing the practical challenges of Saudi Arabia’s EV transition:
Policy and Infrastructure: Achieving Vision 2030’s 30% electrification target in Riyadh through government and private sector coordination.
Charging Network: Scaling infrastructure from 200 to 1,000+ stations while ensuring coverage and technical compatibility.
Local Manufacturing: Best practices for EV assembly and component production, drawing on Lucid’s experience in the Kingdom.
Financing: Structuring incentive programs and financing solutions to accelerate consumer and fleet adoption.
Technology: Battery advances and energy storage solutions for Saudi Arabia’s extreme climate.
Digital Mobility: Mobility-as-a-Service platforms and connected vehicle systems shaping urban transportation.
Industry executives, government officials, and technical specialists will share insights for stakeholders across the EV value chain—from manufacturers and importers to fleet operators, charging network developers, and financial institutions.
Market Growth Accelerates
The show’s expansion reflects the Kingdom’s maturing EV sector. Attendance has doubled from 6,000 visitors in 2023 to an expected 12,000+ attendees in 2025, while exhibitor participation has grown 20% year-over-year.
The 40% consumer consideration rate represents a significant shift in Saudi automotive preferences, driven by improved vehicle economics, increased model choices, and growing environmental awareness. Industry analysts project the Saudi EV market will grow from USD 2.3 billion in 2024 to USD 15.8 billion by 2030, fueled by government incentives, infrastructure investments, and competitively priced models across all segments.
This growth positions Saudi Arabia as one of the Middle East’s most dynamic EV markets, creating opportunities for manufacturers, technology providers, and service companies.
